October 21-23 2013 San Francisco, California, USA

Art, Science and Data.

About

The Graphical Web (formerly SVG Open) is a conference to showcase the many new open source web technologies that have become available for presenting visual information throughout the technology, data visualization and graphics industries. On the program there are presentations, beginner and advanced level workshops. It is an opportunity for the communities that design these open standards, those that implement them as software products and those from many fields who use these standards to create art, science and data visualizations to assemble. At this conference can be seen best practices, future directions, unsolved problems, and a lot of very intriguing visual content.

We will be meeting in the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California, USA, from October 21 to 23. Graphical Web 2013 will not be a conference on its own, but will be held as part of the HTML5 Devconf autumn 2013 edition. There will be two separate tracks set aside for the Graphical Web 2013 conference. People registering for the Graphical Web Track can also attend sessions in the main HTML5 Developers Conference and vice versa. The first day, Monday October 21, is a workshop day, the main conference is from Tuesday, October 22 to Wednesday October 23. Please let us know your ideas or if you want to contribute.
