The SVG Open 2004 Conference has just started. The site design has been changed to feature SVG Open Conference Logo.

August 3, 2004

We are glad to announce that UPIMap2004 workshop organized by ICA (International Cartographic Association) is a joint event of SVG Open 2004. UPIMap2004 will be held on September 7-9, 2004 at the same venue (Keio University Mita Campus).

The full conference schedule of courses and presentations is now available along with a number of other Web site updates. We apologize for the delay in releasing the schedule.

July 23, 2004

The hotel reservation requests can now be handled by the official travel agency for the conference. Please consult the location & accommodation page for the detailed information.

The conference registration site will be down July 25th, from 6:00am - 8:30am JST (July 24th 10:00pm-00:30am+ UTC). During this time, the web site will be unavailable, and mail will not be delivered. This downtime is for a power system maintenance.

The conference registration form is now online. Please have your credit card information ready and follow the instructions in registration page. Be sure to register before July 24, 2004 in order to take advantage of early bird rate.

The submissions of paper abstract and course outline were closed. Thank you for your interest.

April 16, 2004

The submission deadline for a paper abstract has been extended to May 7, 2004. Also, you can now use online application system to submit your proposal for a course or exhibition. Please follow the instructions in call for participation to submit your proposal.
