There are two activities that can include family members or friends, and we also encourage you to take a couple of extra days of vacation while you are visiting Vancouver, since it is such an excellent tourist destination.
Join friends and colleagues aboard the mv Harbour Princess for what promises to be a fabulous night. Arrangements include a superb meal embellished with locally-grown wine and live music. Vancouver's scenery is shown in the highest advantage when viewed from the water, so you won't want to miss this very special social event.
Note: All cruise participants will be met by Venue West personnel, Larry and Tanja, in the lobby of the Westin Bayshore Hotel at 6:40 pm Tuesday and escorted to the vessel. Please ensure that you are in the lobby at this time and that you bring your ticket in order to board the private yacht.
A spectacular visit has been arranged for all conference delegates at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park. More than 60,000 aquatic species including beluga whales, dolphins, sea otters, sharks and other amazing animals can be viewed in their natural habitat. There's even a café and gift shop on-site. The gateway to this underwater world is a short walk on your own into Stanley Park, following the path shown here. Simply present your ticket at the admission gate and enjoy. Don't miss this awe-inspiring opportunity!
