Real Life SVG authoring

Creating SVG content has traditionally required extensive coding knowledge and a solid understanding
of the sometimes cryptic SVG file format. Often, designers create the graphics and hand them over to
developers who manually code the interactivity and animations. We now begin to see several authoring
tools dedicated to SVG, and this will certainly help to get more traction on the market place. However,
when it comes to the creation of content for SVG Mobile, the problem can become more complex: SVG viewers
rely on a solid integration with the existing XHTML browser to get the job done. As a result, content
is most the time a complex mix of SVG and XHTML. This presentation will explore these problems and
present solutions which can be used today to create content for the real world.
